Hello There & Unreal Tournament 3 Review
Hi my name’s Nick i’m the newest member of GOM, and will be reviewing games and other such necessities… My favorite games are FPS’s with awesome story-line such as The half Life or halo series’. But unfortunately niether of those will be mention in this review. However i do have a game By the name of Unreal Tournament 3.
It is Fps-excellence covered in epic, boiled in winsauce and covered in roflcopters. it combines Fps style gameplay with humor such as taunts and t-bagging. The campagn uses the same maps as gameplay. not like in call of duty 4 but i mean seriously the campaign is the multiplayer just with an occasional cutscene and achievments. and the achievables for this game are verry but obtainable but for the average game renter like myself, this was annoying so if you rent this game looking for easy gamerscore. it’s a turn down in that sense but the better part about the maps being all the same for each gametype is that if you’re oldschool like me and play the campaign before you do the story-line. It gets you very experienced in the way of the game. it’s weapons have the basic “machine gun, sniper, shotty, etc.” combo of all the normal wepons but it’s much easy than halo 3 or call of duty 4. it’s bullets use gravitise and waver abilities. so What that means is bullets are more likely to register if the game can tell that you meant to hit them and pull your bullets into them. it also has a fast-transport sytem that doesn’t use vehicles. the game does have vehicles and lots of intersting ones at that but we’re not there just yet. On almost all levels you will have either a personal teleporter gun or a hoverboard. while on the hover board you have increased speed but you can’t fire a weapon so it’s a little balanced in that sense and it’s more common in Capture The Flag and Node-to-Node gametypes and if someone hits you with a powerful long range weapon such as the sniper, you go flying and so does whatever you where carrying these falls will rarely kill you but they do get annoying because even if you’re 3 ft from your capture point and someone hits you if they touch the flag it goes right all the way back to their base. Node-to-Node is as far as I know a New gametype only in unreal tournament, in which you must capture nodes and link your node to the enemy’s thus destroying their node and winning the game for you. Man this review is getting long i’ll rap up with this score
Gameplay - 8/10
Story - 4.5/10
Multiplayer - 8.5/10
Controls - 9/10
Weapon System - 8/10
